Similarly to the peekaboo tactic and anticipate tactics, this takes advantage of knowing where your opponent is moving, and the fact that you can alter the board before they arrive. In this case we don't simply guard or dodge from the spot, we move and sacrifice one of our own pieces into their path to stop them in their tracks. Be careful, and make sure your piece arrives in time, or it could get swept! In the video, white's queen goes for the black king, but black quickly moves a pawn into the path, causing the queen to stop on a vulnerable square.
